With the X3 and X4 devices, we will be setting up datalogging through the SCT Livelink Gen II program, by establishing communication to the vehicle, selecting the appropriate channels (we provide a list for you), connecting the wideband mentioned earlier with the SCT 9608 patch cable (purchased separately). How do I install the SCT device updater software? It is suggested to always return your vehicle back to stock and check for automatic updates prior to loading new tunes on. Then the SCT X3 screen become missing some graphics. After this, I downloaded the.LWU firmware update file from SCT website and started the update by the 'update firmware' button on the SCT Device Updater. My question is: it's taking too long to complete the update. Now it's 'writing firmware'. It took about 2 hours to reach 50% of the process.

I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 quad cab 318 with the 'death flash' and it already scratches the tires pretty good with the cold air intake and shorty headers i have on the truck, but now that I've gotten rid of the 'death flash' with the SCT tuner its hard to keep my foot out of the gas pedal! it burns the tires like nothing now! Awesome off the line acceleration! it woke up my truck quite a bit! its hard to believe i'm only on the 91 octane tune right now! Im curious to see what the 93 octane tune has in store;) I DEFINANTLY recommend this tuner!!! best $265 bucks I've spent on my truck so far!!

I just finished taking a drive after uploading the programmer into my 2001 dodge ram 318. (Installed the recommended 160 degree thermostat as well) All I can say is that this programmer exceeded all of my expectations! It is actually hilarious that a 318 full size 4 door RAM SPORT can chirp the tires when launching! Thank you very much Sean for the awesome programmer!!!!!

Very impressed with how easy this product installed. Crazy big difference in overall performance, totally different truck to drive cant recomend this tuner enough.
